I am looking at getting some of the Abba Stands
http://www.abbastands.co.uk/product_details.asp?id=1
Is there anyone interested in getting one of these as could / will do group order (and I can then ship them to individuals once I have them) and its a good saving its about £77 each with fittings. :doug

I know I only have to get 3 to get the really good price so I will give them a call again to see the exact price for the stands and extra's
what I need is year and type of bike (I am assuming RSV)so I can make sure that I get the right parts:
my number is 07956 859837 if you would like to txt it to me then I will make the call on Monday.
I will ship out via TNT from my work once I get them and its is still cheaper than Ebay or a secondhand one

I will wait until Monday/Tuesday before I make the call again that way it gives everyone the weekend to decide and txt me model/year. but if you only need the fixings this can also be added as it still saves cash which is what everyone wants.
Bruce
cheers bruce, possibly just fittings for a 2000 mille r, maybe the whole package...i'll keep you posted (currently 20 quid on ebay...:thumbup)

Hi all,
No The order has not been placed as yet I have been a little busy but as it stands the cost of the stands if I get 3 is £75.90 and for me to ship them would cost about £5 via tnt. so a total of £80.90 to you.
Cost for the bits is about £8.05 and postage and as there are a few strikes it could be a problem; I could send them out TNT and thats still £5
But I have been told by a nother member that we could get copies that are made for the RSV and they are a lot cheaper at around £50 +P&P I have the number for these so let me know if you want the copies and they are very good I am told by a few people now.
If you are intrested send me a txt and I will pass on the number.

UPDATE
I can get the cheaper ones. They are awesome quality all tested for weight and stability. They work the same as the abba stands but with a few improvements. The stand mounts with pins instead of the abba socket arrangement this makes it a lot more secure. The bikes have been rocked, pushed and kicked whilst on the stand and not moved, the pins are tested to 1 ton of force. They have been designed for the RSV. Only good feedback from these stands. I have ordered 3 myself !!!!!!!!!!!
They fit all RSV`s, old & new. They will also fit other makes of bike although sizes will be required for the swingarm mount to obtain the correct size pin.
£50 + P&P (aprx £13)
PM me for details.
Currently 10 available
Thanks STL :biggrin
Quick thanks to Bruce too . :thumbup

STL, is there any way (such as with the abba's additional fixing kit) you can remove the swingarm with this stand? I will be replacing mine when it arrives.

You just need to prop the front up, i`m gonna use an axle stand to support it.
