Very nice dude, it's well clean, did you get it locally ? If you do venture out mate, watch out the roads are shite, i had to pick up my dads Duc 1099 from the dealer to day from having a service. Had couple of hairy moments due to the salt etc on the roads. Forgot to ask before did you decide on where to get your leathers and stuff ???

Cheers,

Ritch

Bad news toook it out today and .......

It was all super duper bloody loved it:doug:doug

The story goes as follows lol

Had an unforseen expence which i have to account for this month and there fore im limited to what i can spend on my bike :rant

Soo i brought my Helmet and gloves for the short term so at least i can take a steady ride out on a dry day, then at the end of the month get me leathers

Got home from the bike shop and thought to myself :confused shall i wait till monday to insure it or do it online now? well that took all of 30seconds to decide!! On the net i went and paid for the insurance, so now im all legal apart from tax which will have to wait till the morning for the system to update, so noo riding till then

2hrs powers and i was getting proper twitchy and i gave in to the temptation, got wrapped up and me gloves on, got the bike out the garage, let her tick over while i was getting me helmet on got to about 45 degrees,
All of a sudden i got the thought im sitting on a 1000cc super sports bike WTF an i doing :jack

Got me head back in the game and set off got up to about 60mph and chilled there for the remaining of the short trip gave it a 1/4 of a 1/4 of the throttle lol and that was enough for me, all the lads are coming round in the morning if the weather is ok so that will be a good test of the bike and my confidence

sorry im raaa raa raarring on lol just wanted to tell ya all about my first trip out on the big sports bike

Mines off the road at the moment after a little highside :jack but in this weather I'm not too upset. Gives me time to get to know the bike a little more intimately while it's got all its clothes off :devious

Your Dunlop 208s spat you off didn't they? That's been playing on my mind since I picked mine up and noticed that the brand new tyres on it are... 208s :(

Get rid of em mate they're bad news. This is the third bike i've had that had them on and every one was the same, very twitchy on anything other than a straight road :biggrin
I'm getting pilot powers fitted this week so I'll be selling the 208's on e-bay (they're nearly new) if you want them you can have em for the cost of postage :thumbup

Personally I'd rather ride on the rims than have these on :lol

Having stretched my budget to breaking point to get my Mille, there's no way I can afford to replace them at the moment :( I'm just going to have to be careful for a while.
