A banging track but a open pit doesn't always means load of track time. I have done a few and only so many are allowed on track, so you may be sat by circuit entry with cooling tyres.:confused

Sounds like a bit of a bargain, whos running that then? I've not done an open pitlane day before, how do they compare to your standard novice,inter,fasts, day? Not sure if I want to spent all day mixing it up with a bunch of nasty bastards...

Open pit lane is great - don't worry about quicker riders, they have to go round you.

i'm booked on with my mate and a few others are going if you are on facebook search trackday legends... i have done open pitlane at cadwell and you are lucky to be fit enough to do more than 6 20 min sessions..you get a lot of fast boys testing but its great value for money

open pitlane days are not for beginners (no first timers)

open pitlane works well at most circuits, cadwell it dont work so good :dunno

Been to cadwell a few times with focused events and they have been well organised without too many stops. open pit lane is good but you only get a bit more track time because you cant manage more than 20/30 mins at a time. if you are on facebook Track day legends group has a few people going i'm off with my mate but i'm gonna camp the night before. good value if it don't rain
