subscription to a thread

everytime i repley in a thread i automaticly get subscribed to that thread. than everytime someone repley's after me i get an email notification.....
well i think we all know what it means when you subscribe to a thread, but i never subscribed en i dont whant to either.

so how do i turn this off? i cant find it anywhere
