How do find the two bikes - 916 and RSV - compare?

dunno lol - mine was a 748!!
The diff between the 748/mille is hooooooj. Quite aside from the immense power difference, the delivery is silky smooth on the Mille, the clutch is infinately better on the mille, the build quality and stability is much better on the mille.
The only things i miss of the Duc are the timeless sexy looks, and the noise it produced - even at low revs it was pure evil the likes of which ive never heard bettered.

Oops sorry for the mis-identification.
Cheers for the write up :D

no probs! you tend to find that the only Ducati's of that shape not proudly displaying their number on the side panels are 748's lol.

You didn't mention the way they cook your meat balls if you get stuck in traffic :mad1:mad1

lol, yeah there was that, but becuase they are soooooo small (not much bigger than the cagiva mito i had before it!) getting stuck in traffic was rarely a problem - ultimate filtering machine!
