Question about eproms

I have a pc III fitted to my RSV and was wondering :jack if there was any benefit in fitting an aftermarket race eprom as well. If so, what will it do? :dunno

My interpretation of the issue is that the new EPROM will remap the ignition timing for the better, the PC3 will still take over the fuelling map.
Worth noting though is that if you have a custom map on the PC3, this would be altered by adding the new EPROM and would need remapping again.

V8 has it right. The chip can alter the ignition mapping as well as fuel.
