How to link photos in a post

The software makes it really easy to post pictures within your posts...the preferred method is to link them in.

First what ya want to do is get and account at www.postwhore.biz (preferred) or www.photobucket.com, upload your photos and then click on the tag that has "" around the url, and copy and past it into your message.. its as easy as that.. and if your on www.postwhore.biz and you have a super large image and you want to post it, just highlight and copy the url that says "click for bigguns" and paste it into your message..

if you want to do it by hand, type out {img}the_URL_to_the_file{/img}, but use [ brackets instead of { brackets.

NOTE some if you're not resizing your pictures before sending them to the image hosting server, they're going to show up huge on here too!!! The best way around this is to "click for bigguns". If you're using postwhore.biz, this tag is provided for you already, just copy it on in. If you're using photobucket or someone else, you'll have to do it by hand.

use the following template: {url="Your_FULL_SIZE_image_URL_here"}{img}URL_to_a_thumbnail_version{/img}{/url}

Now that your a pro, go whore up your pics :thumbup

For Photobucket users, you can resize the images within the site. Here's how you do it manually:

Upload your picture to the Photobucket site then click on the picture you uploaded to bring you to the following screen. Click the resize button and select Message Board (640x480) and then copy and paste the code into your message text.

so how do we all post pics of other peoples stuff into our posts???

for example ,i want to nominate someone for bike of the month,

found his pic,but dont know how to get the pic in the post,all i can get is the link,which i know is not good enough to be entered into the comp,it needs to be a pic.

any ideas on how to do this folks??
