AUSSIE boy rs125

hey guys seen a vid on youtube advetising this forum thought i might jump on and have a look...

my name is ben, bike is a rs125 2003 stock as a rock, picked it up for a steal $4500 AUD with 13484kms on the clock..

it sucks here in aus we cant even ride rs250's they are illegal yet you can ride jap 250's.. oh wait im gathering this is a american forum right???

welcome to the forum, seems to be a good variety of people on the forum from various parts of the world so i doubt you are the only one from australia

when i started riding in the uk all i was allowed was a little 50cc, so i got an rs50 the lil sister of your bike i guess, great bikes for the corners i could tell some insane stories about the laughs i had on mine.

soon as i could i got a mille though, just dont go forgetting its a complete different bike to ride.. its not just the huge jump in power you need to be careful about!

the 250 thing sucks, sounds like emmisions regulations crap hating the two strokes, at least you are allowed a rs125... imagine if you could only have honda cg125 type bikes hahaaha

keep that nice bike sunny side up and enjoy the twisties :biggrin
out of curiosity is that bike restricted or full power?

You can on a full licence, but the other 250 smokers are illegal for the probies too - NSR, RGV etc, it's the 4 stroke 250's that are ok because they satisfy the power to weight ratio :thumbup

yeh!!! i finished my L"s course today and passed.... now have to go down tomorrow to the rta and do the computer test.... so much but inthe long run if it helps me in a accident its worth it...

thats a really nice example. i love the pillion seat if i was goin to keep my 125 i would get a fg 1 like that... i went and had a look at a new right hand fairing today good price $150 from a old aprilia dealer turned kawasaki =( but he didnt have any 03 model stickers and he said it would cost anywhere up2 $700 for a new set!!!!!!!!!! is this tru?
