Remus Exhaust

Just bought a REMUS REVOLUTION Silencer, will the bike need rechippin ? if so will a P-LINE EPROM open front and exhaust chip do the job ?

You sometimes get a chip with the new exhaust on the older model bikes.....the newer model you get changed to map2

There is something about cutting a wire on the older model someone will be along to confirm this

mate thought this might help? the chip(picture is crap rp58 standard chip my renegade is fitted)) fits in the big silver box(ecu)under your seat/pillion seat ,u will see it when you open the lid,these are just a push in be careful they only fit in one way, look at the side of chip!once fitted turn on ignition put ear to tank see if fuel pump is working if not chip is buggered someone sold u a duff chip. the other picture u can see the bottom lh green/blue wire cut on th rh plug hopefully that is a big help buddy......:thumbup:biggrin one on the remus can see how it runs best to put on dyno my akro was fine without a chip when i fitted renegades it woz gutless without the chip/normally when you get a can the chip comes with it!!!!

the fueling should sort itself out..but if not you really want a PC111 and custom map for the particular exhaust. A chip should not really be necessary (IMHO)
I have the large bore akra evo full system and it was a piece of piss to get a custom map done, I cvan swap maps over when I put other cans on it.
