I was at the local BMW,Ducati,Triumph dealer today and I looked at a K1200s

Sucker was loaded electronic suspension, heated grips 160 hp....

Anyone know anything about them...

My roommate has a K1200R it is bad ass. Shaft driven and smooth as silk. I'm not a fan of naked bikes but I would certainly consider the model with fairings.

Mate of mine has a K1200R, he is awesome on it. I rode it and it felt lumpy around 7,000RPM then only revs to about 12000 redline, it goes like a rocket, handles extremly well, no dive on the front.
If you don't mind the image then you can certainly surprise a few on one.

I know a guy who does nearly 50k a year for work in all weathers on the traily version and absolutely loves it for what it does and he runs rings round quite a lot of riders on it too i think its just a question of horses for courses, i thought the most impressive thing about it was the fuel tank size 33L he does one stop to my three

I do half that mileage a year in all weathers.. on the mille...and have twice the fun!.
on a side note..have you seenthe size of german reg plates? A4! I kid you not.

Yeah lol i know what you mean but hell your my hero for riding all year round on a mille not coz of the comfort factor coz its a sports bike but just the bloody cleaning of it :) :) I've been out in the rain a few times and cleaning it afterwards is a complete b4stard:biggrin

tell me about it, I'm in for a new corsa 111 after wprk tmrw, but just done 40 miles of twisties in a monsoon just cant be arsed to clean it yet again.
(i usually do).I dont mind the wet tho, you can have a bit of fun (as long as you are smooth). I do have a quick 30 min rinsing regime, bike on paddocks its a fairly quick job.
