2001 Mille R Rear cover

What does a short-legged Scot have to do to get his leg over the rear hump? Is it possible to get a flatter cover that still looks great? Or do just repair the scratches and chips and carry around a set of step ladders so that I don't mark it?
Any 'reasonable' suggestions??

swing your leg over the seat not the tail unit,(imagine you have atail pack on) takes abit of practice but its possible. Failing that you would need the 03 tail unit and hump which is thinner
