What are these Yahoo !slurp spider, google spider and msn bot spider that are viewin threads ?

they are bots that yahoo, google, etc send out to websites to add them to their search engines.

suppose its a good thing, reckon it means more people get to see the site exsists, probably comes up with certain keywords, but then probably im wrong, most of the time i am.

It's a good thing. :thumbup

If they didn't send out bots to "read" pages, when you searched for something using google or yahoo etc, you'd get no results returned.
