It was only 12 weeks ago I bought my Black 06 Factory, joined the forum, got top tips from other members, spent several 100 £s on bits etc etc...Good Times :thumbup

Then 2 weeks ago almost to the minute I was out with me mates...2 Mille's and an R6, dry roads, sun out. Car stops in a hurry, I stop, but my mate on his R6 doesn't!! Next thing I know I'm rolling around on the pavement clutching me knackers...Bad Times:thumbdown:thumbdown

Pics attached...much sadness

Local Dealer quoted 40 quid shy of 10 grand to put right!! Just heard from assessor today it's a total loss!!
No doubt there will be bits on fleabay very soon for anyone that's looking!

The forks and frame weren't checked for trueness but there was nothing wrong with the engine. Subframe and whole tail unit are proper fcuked. Front end pretty banged up where I was shoved into the car in front.

Brand new 2CT's just fitted 300 miles ago. Wheels look ok and no punctures but no guarantees they weren't damaged.

Me and me mate got up and walked away from the smash which is what counts!

YellowRSVR was the third bike and he shat himself when all he could see was R6's exhaust through the bottom of his bellypan11...apparantly he cartwheeled the R6 before it hit me.

Just as well we were only doing 30!

That's rotten luck pal glad to know ure ok tho. I've had the same done to me once when a pal on a Daytona 955 rolled onto my back wheel at a junction, luckily i escaped that punt with only a cracked number plate. At 5mph i suppose it will be different tho. :scared

Guys, my x-factory has turned up on ebay in bits..... YellowRSVR spotted it on saturday evening....it was only a matter of time.

Still waiting for final settlement before I get myself a new beast:thumbup
