jammed rear brake..

anyone expereinced it before?

i havent used my rear brake for ages as it seems loose(no grip at all)..however, a week ago, it suddently jammed and i nearly got rammed from behind..

i stop, wait for a while and bleed it..it seems ok but after about a kilometer, it got jammed again. So, i get rid of the fluid and keep the cap open.

send it for service but it occured once again today.

anyone have any ideas?

the adjustment rod has not enough free movement in it is causing slight pressure, as this causes the pads to touch the disc lightly things start to heat up and expansion of materials due to heat makes things worse till you grind to a stop, all that happened when you waited to bleed it was the thing cooled down, when you started riding again the process starts all over again, it had nothing to do with the bleeding, so the answer is you need a bit more free movement in the adjusting rod, see link below to your answer
