guys, two questions....slipper clutches and evo/mpl slave

slipper clutches, I fancy the evo one for track and road, does anyone have any experiences of riding with a full slipper clutch, how will I have to change my riding techniques?, will riding in all weathers F@@ck it up?, is it similar to using a slip clutch on a IL4?, does a quick shifter work with it?
also how quick would a competent machanic (not me-spanner shy)take to fit a mpl or evo clutch slave cylinder?

Hi Carbon kid,

I've just purchased an STM EVO Slipper Clutch for my Mille, only just got it so haven't had time to fit it yet.

Will let you know when I have and what it's like.

Hi Carbon Kid,

Picked it up on the Aprilia AF1 Forum for £425 so a bargain really:thumbup can't wait to fit it, how much did you pay?.

However just to cock things up even more just picked up a complete Colin Edwards Rep motor/Gearbox with 57mm Throttle bodies and ECU so gonna fit the Slipper clutch to that and then wedge it into my Mille.:biggrin

Will have a set of 57mm Throttle Bodies with CER Airbox and Chip going gash if you're interested?
