Looking to replace my Arai, the date stamp says it 8 years old now, but find it hard to open my wallet and cough up £400 for a new one.

Thought I might go for an AGV Ti Tech, but heard mixed reviews about them.

Want something quiet, the Arai was a bit noisey, any ideas?

Or what experiance have people had with the AGV

I've had 2 shoei XR1000............bloody superb lid.....found the AGV's fit a different shape head to Arai and Shoei

i have both an arai rx7 corsair(2007) and a agv stealth(look at other thread for helmets) the arai is far superior but the agv is worth its money and not bad at all ...:thumbup

Ive got the AGV Stealth at the moment, find it a good comfortable fit and holds ya head well at speed, hardly any air thro visor so no eye waterin but the wind noise is fcukin terrible, at 200 quid tho its worth it :thumbup

Buy whatever fits your head the best. Don't worry too much about the name - a good fitting cheaper lid will offer better protection than an expensive poor fitting one..

For what it's worth, I use a Shoei XR-1000 and an AGV Top Vent
