After a quick wash, not as clean as I would like but I didn't have a lot of time - just needed to get rid of some road grime. :cool3

Not had chance to give it any really, so far due to weather and work :rant

I have ridden it though, and a friend's RSVR and the RSVR front end is much 'harder' to work than the RSV's - whether this is because the front end on the RSV flexes, but the RSVR feels firmer, and sometimes slower to turn - possibly due to to more damping from the ohlins steering damper.

As commented on another thread, I replaced the rear shock on the RSV (which had perished all the way through the top link eye :eek: - and was ready to collapse completely) with the linkage and Ohlins from a later RSVR (fully serviced £160 from an Ohlins agent :whipping) , and changed the oil in the front forks, and the ride was transformed. It seemed to float over the bumps, and not slap as it had previously when worked quite hard.


RS3 - we do get out for a few rides, mostly SE London down to the coast cos that's where my mate (and tbh person who does most of my servicing/major mechanicals) and his brother live, see the pictures of Aprilia's do Europe in the Gallery, the other RSVR and Tuono.

Always up for a spin, providing that the weather looks o.k. - fecking hate riding in the rain, and I speak by proxy for my bike. :nana
