What a sh*t day i,ve just had.I needed to change the oil and filter and put in new front pads,so having no where to work on my bike at home,i take it to my mates workshop.get to the workshop put bike up on lift, rip the piss out of my Buell owning friend, everything done and dusted.lower lift, take bike off paddock stand now heres the bad bit,i forgot to put the side stand up and as im rolling the bike off the lift, the side stand digs into the lip of the bike lift and over she goes..bang..goes the mirror, pushed straight back thru the fairing and the db screen makes that horrible grinding noise down the wall and to top it off as i try to save it,by trying to pull it back off the wall to stop any more damage happening....my back gives out....so now i have a f**ked bike and a f**ked back GREAT..SO PLEASE learn something from this and be very very careful when working on your bike, the smallest mistake can realy hurt, you and your bike.

mark....with bad back and scratched bike :jack:jack:mad1:scared

I think I might have some mirrors and brackets in the shed. Let me know if you need some. Also, my eldest son saw a piss head top himself on the railway track in Weston yesterday. I reckon he was having a worse day than you bro!!
