I reckon that the highest finished RSV4 will be a sixth place this season, what do you lot reckon?

Will be interesting to look back at the end of the year to this thread and see how it fared.

So a sixth for me:eatcorn

I think Badger is nearer the mark.

Nakana is likely to do a Tamada and end up circulating in the slow group and Biaggi is about as good at developing a bike as i am at pole dancing (not Good) so i'm not sure how much better it might get through the season.

On that basis and it's current form which may not improve i would go for top ten with maybe a 4th if they get it right somewhere. Also predict a Biaggi toys out of the pram somewhere before the season ends.

Well, i'm going all out and recon that they've been sandbagging in official tests. I'm going for a 1 2 finish this season.

Aprilia will withdraw at the end of the season, Biaggi toys out of the pram more often than scores a result, thus development will suffer and lead to poor results.

Would go so far as to suggest that Biaggi may even leave 'by mutual consent' if the bike doesn't perform to his 'expectations'.....Would love to see the bike in the top 5/6 but guess best outcome is a few top 10 results....BUT I will be happy to be proved wrong!

With a decent development rider on board 1st or 2nd with a whinge bag on board like Biaggi 10th and maybe after throwing a toys over board then might get 9th Nakano will do better........

Another here thinks Biaggi wont last ........................ Nakano not a bad rider but not the fastest ..........

Biaggi ....... struggling for top ten

Nakano ..... 6th

In comes Melandri ............ 4th.

Sh?t .... can't get my crystal ball back in its case now :dunno

I do think though ........... towards the end of the season when Little1uk gets the hang of his RSV4, he'd be worth a go :biggrin

I'd go with top 6

biaggi throwing toys, looks like hes been of some sorts that way all ready

nakano, consistent just needs to pull the pin but think he will do better than biaggi

would love for aprilia to get in the top 3 in any race, but as said before, with the riders they have now, can't see it happening unless the top guys wipe themselves out in the rain or summat.

best bet would have been to have used the top wsb/ama guys to sort this bike

Faster tracks will flatter the bike and tight ones will show it's weaknesses imo.

Nakano - top 8 race by race if he's lucky. should have given the birth to an up and coming rider.

Biaggi - blows hot and cold and his mental state will dictate his results as much as anything. tends to start stronger and fade off so if he gets a result it's likely to be earlier rather than later.
If he has a shocker he will spit his dummy out and blame everyone else and his dog.

The one thing he has which almost no one else does is a development budget so in theory the bike should get better but historically Biaggi is to bike development what Gordon Brown is to pole dancing so my expectation on that point is not high.

6th for season finish for Biaggi with maybe the odd individual flourish, Nakano around 10 -12th with odd break into top 10 race by race and fairly anonomous.

I think overall over the whole season you are near the mark with both of them Spoonz:thumbup

What i meant was... Do you think at this stage they could get a win and a place inside the top 4 between them? At any Round...

E.G.
Max 1st Shinya 2nd 3rd or 4th or REVERSE way round
Shinya 1st Max a 2nd 3rd or 4th place.

Depending on how Nekano takes to some of the new tracks he has to learn.
But then Spies has to learn a few too eh.

You don't seem too confident with Nakano, I thought he seemed a better rider than you seem to take him for.:dunno

I'm starting to have doubts now about my pairing in the Fantasy Leage.:roll

honest answer -nope

Not convinced of a Biaggi win though podium is possible and especially not Nakano to do anything noteable.
