Hello Peeps,
Can anyone help please?, I've just sold my 2002 Mille, Loved it but it's time to move on.
I am going on Monday to have a look(with cash in my pocket) at a new shape model, but I just realized I haven't even sat on a new one!
Can anyone tell me if they are the same sort of riding position?
I'm 6'4" and found the old bike very comfy(had a Fireblade before, it was a night-mare).
Any information before Monday would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks.
Andy

Carbon Kid, me biased, of course :biggrin
One thing I'm sure we can agree on is that which ever RSV you have its got to be one of the best things out there on the road :burnout

Smart bike man......BUT you will need to save some sheckles to turn the volume button up from -8 to +10....Believe me the last few months have been Hell waiting to get the cash to release the noise on my RSVR!!! All the best.

Hello,
Yeah...personally I have to say that the new bike is better, more comfy and it seems to be more stable on the road, I did 220 miles bringing it back. and did 1 stop, there was no way I could have done that on the old one, 80 miles was about it!
Cheers Andy

Hi Posh Johnny, not a million miles away, Ellesmere, 10 miles form Whitchurch.
About the bikes, it's only my opinion, I'm 6'4" and it's feels less cramped!
Cheers Andy.

oooooo MCN couldnt of done a test on the new shape at a better moment, now the upshot on the report is that the old one is MORE AGGRESIVE on power than the new one, its like they turned the button down for the newer models, the old one is MINT on the track, where the new is sadly not, readin between the lines OLD SHAPE FOR MEN and NEW IF YA A LITTLE BIT GAY, well done to MCN for a great report :thumbup:thumbup:thumbup:lol:lol:lol:lol

What an absolute load of bollox and a crap bit of journalism to seperate Mille/RSVR owners...the only real difference is that the older Mille's have more engine braking ( jammy bastards) ... ALL Aprilia RSV's/Mille's have tonnes of torque, acceleration, fantastic handling and Italian uniqueness.... don't let the fukkkkkkrrs divide us...Red,Silver,Black,white...who gives a fudge...They're all fantastic ( apart from the ones that get run over by florists!!!) :devious
