Just a thought but anyone think it would be a good idea to get some RSVZONE.COM car window stickers made up, it would encourage more to visit the site and join up:dunno. Sticker something like the MCN sticker size :thumbup.

I wouldn t know the first thing about designing or who or where to get the stickers made up but i guess it could go to a vote to see how many would want one and take it from there m8 :thumbup.

Seems to be quite a popular site this RSVZONE :yes so more publicity can only mean we add more of a following to the site.

Mille madness :pirate.

on our other sites we have made vinyl decals, they're good for windows, bikes, cars, ex-wives.....whatever you can get a hold of really. :thumbup

Vinyl is ok :thumbup, but the ones that stick on the inside of the window is best so no one steals it but ill go with what ever the majority wants :thumbup

Aye, I'm with you on this one...as the forum feels a bit more vibrant than others I've scanned...A bit of sticker action would raise the profile ( I found RSVR.Net via a sticker on my bike!) and would add to the gang mentality that certainly pervades throughout the membership.
Additionally though we need to look at some sort of meet/event in the UK (sorry I'm not about to ship my bike to America/Canada/Australia just for a ride-out...unless I win the lottery) to develop the forum further.... I know that there are venues around that members have contact with that could host an event, all you then need is a bit of entertainment (did I mention I play in a really good band?!), alcohol (who would have thought it), some Aprilia related input (dealer/specialist garage/parts supplier) and a field/caravan/shed to crash out in....Dunno just a thought!!

NewBoots sounds like a great idea,:pirate i know that Southern Cross Lads would be happy to come along for the day or longer do some bike set up cheap and supply parts (last time i got my carbon air box fitted):thumbup We need to find somewhere central and bike friendly that would let us put up some tents for the weekend..:devious and a good route for a controlled ride out:love2 i know this might make you smile but around your area would be ideal....:biggrin:biggrin Central for those living in the smog and close enough for those up north. so why don't you guys get out there and find the bits we need to make a weekend out of it and if you must i am sure you can entertain us for the night.:confused

I once had a conversation with Sharky about this and he knows the perfect venue, its the 3 Horseshoes in Yaxley, Massive car park and Huge garden area, would be perfect for this type of meet, if enough interest is shown ill personally pay for a live band to play in the afternoon, a kind of warm up act before Newboots band hits the stage, Me and Akabak will sort a morning ride out route for a good old fashion country road thrash (i was born and raised in the next village), So Newboots its over to you and Sharky to get the ball rollin
and you can count on me for any help and support you need :thumbup:thumbup

Well I got Black, White, Red, Blue, Yellow and Chrome at the min..
I will make one up, stick it on my bike and post a photo. I think about £3 should cover it including vinyl, applicating tape, envelope, stamp and paypal fees. Let me know if thats too steep and I will see what I can do depending on how many want them. Never made any money out of buying the machine but its good fun... The thing owes me about £600 and I have only ever made numbers and lettering for my race bikes.

TarkMalbot
10-21-2007, 03:17 PM
Well I normally print them the right way round so you can put them on any coloured surface but if I really get my brain into gear I can reverse the text so you can stick them on the inside of your screen and they would read correct on the outside of the screen...

I will do them in different styles normal and reversed and have the www. on and then you can just chop them off with scissors if you wanted. I will do an example and post photo tomorrow.

White ok to start with?

I made some examples last time I was home but management have sent a logo for me to use but am now back offshore till next friday..

Examples of quality though:
Inside screen facing outwards:

http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u158/tarkmalbot/Bikes/RSVR/RSVzone/RSVzonecom003.jpg

Right way round:

http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u158/tarkmalbot/Bikes/RSVR/RSVzone/RSVzonecom002.jpg

Next design will be similar lettering as the RSV sticker on the seat cowl and that of the forum logo.
