Hi folks, I'm a newbie to the forum and have just become the proud owner of a 2000 RSV Mille R. Only 9000 miles on her and I know the previous owner. A pristine ride!!:biggrin I am particularly glad that she is black and red and not "slow silver":lol Here's my question- I'm loking for a replacement horn. The stock unit is "anemic" and if Capt. Kirk or Scotty would return my e-mails, I'd just buy a "phaser" and take care of business that way. Any suggestions?

Mate welcome:thumbup, my suggestion is get some Arrow exhausts fitted:devious people will hear you for miles and you will never need the horn:devious

Must admit, the standard fit Aprilia horns are particularly camp...

Mate of mine has just fitted a pair of Fiamms on his VFR and they are ideal for scaring the shit out of car drivers...

After reading the forum a bit, I felt certain that a suggestion as to the Arrows would come my way as a replacement for the horns. And, were it not for the fact that the bike already has the factory titanium cans, it might be a consideration. Thanks for the thought.

I will look into the Fiamms. I had a pair of those on my previous bike, a 2003 BMW K1200RS and they were quite nice. I'd hit those and the folks nearby would look around for the Buick that just honked.:biggrin Thanks

An excellent suggestion! I may have to modify the fairing a wee bit but I could probably part their hair from 50 yds.:lol
