and for the mounting :devious
i'll need to redo some of the holes in the morning since the fit is a bit off. overall though i very pleased with the fitment...i couldn't imagine using one of the "other" brands which don't fit as well.

Mate my arrows were only £450
£450, that's pretty cheap, was that for a full race system? Have got a set of Arrow 2 into 1 race downpipes and twin shotgun Shark race cans on my mille at the mo but the 2 into 2 Akro's give more poke apparently.:biggrin Will find out when I fit them and dyno it:thumbup
I don't think the twin systems/cans off the 04/07 models will fit onto the older 98/03 models, not without loads of hacking around and re-welding. You would need a really shit hot welder to that sort of work and I can't think of any:O

Yeah know wot you mean all the really good welders work offshore:biggrin
Had the Arrow single can on mine and that was very loud, unfortunately upset too many of the neighbours (unappreciative bastards!) so flogged it and got the Shark Shotgun. Hopefully the Akro's will be loud but not too much?..

Funny I thought all the dodgey welders were in Huntingdon:lol
Better hope that they've not done too many dodgey jobs out of sight offshore or you won't get any crude and then your rsvr's gonna be screwed without any oil or petrol. Unless yours can run on bio-diesel:laugh

You are going to love those akras, i hope the carbon holds up. I took the baffles out of my titanium cans and they were ear splitting. I'm putting the baffles back in before the neighbors call the police.

Cheers, they certainly look good and should look even better once fitted. Hoping that the CF cans stay together ok, the Shark CF Shotguns have lasted with no problems so hopefully the Akro's will too. But if they don't I still have the Original Titanium Akro sleeves:thumbup
What chip are you running with your Akro's? and have you got a PCIII fitted too?
Cheers

I am running the Factory Pro Chip and the evoluzione airbox. Combination of akras, evoluzione airbox and Factory Pro Chip work very well giving an almost linear horsepower vs. RPM curve. If you search Aprilia forum at AF1 for my posts under my same username you can see the results posted. I am not running PCIII, I have heard mixed results running PCIII on the Mille. Since I live about 40 miles from Factory Pro headquarters I may take my bike there in the spring to see if they can do any further tuning, but for now I am satisfied with the results.
